"Trojan Horse"

─ A new luxury residential high-rise standing out from old buildings. It looks like a monument heralding the fall-into-ruin of an old district. The contrast against the old building group in the surroundings is so sharp that calls people to re-think the gain and loss of redevelopment, the worth of home ownership and personal values. Roadside Gallery

─ at the spot of a Dai Pai Dong in Tai Hang, Hong Kong.

The Dai Pai Dong was closed at the time when this snapshot was taken. Among the displayed materials on the wall, the largest one in size was identified to be a painting (replica?) by Mitsuko Onodera ﹝小野寺 光子﹞, a Japanese female painter, which depicts the scene of the Dai Pai Dong. The laundry was believed to be aprons used by cooks and dishwashers of that Dai Pai Dong.
